I drew this 2 days ago and finished coloring the whole thing today. It's been a long time since I've used my color pencils so I thought I'd give them a try on my new --cheap-- sketchbook that I bought at Walgreens. I realized that the texture of the paper doesn't really make color pencil work look very nice... So now I know I will only color my drawings with markers, lol. The electricity went out the day that I drew this (precisely why I drew it -.- lol). I was bored and decided to practice perspective, but that didn't turn out very well and I ended up doing this. I decided to AT LEAST motivate myself to draw a decent background (unlike all my other boring, background-less artwork) and here it is. What inspired me to make this background was my own home (I live in the mountains, so yeah...). The girl does NOT represent me, I look nothing like her (I wish I did lulz she's so cutez). Anyway, I hope you all like it, I did work hard on it.
